Record Book Notes

Ricky Harris continues to stand fourth in career scoring at UMass with nine in the game and now has 1,858. No. 3 on the list is Lou Roe (1,905).

Harris continues to stand fourth in career field goal attempts at UMass with 1,454, after he took 15 shots in the game. Next on the list at No. 3 is Lorenzo Sutton (1,518).

Harris also is also seventh in career made field goals list with three today. He now has 610 in his career. He stands behind No. 6 Lou Roe (661).

Harris continues to be second on the career 3-pointers attempted list with six in the game, giving him 746 in his career. The all-time leader is Monty Mack with 910.

Harris continues to be third in career made 3-pointers (262) with one in the game. Next on the list at No. 2 Anthony Anderson (275).

Harris made two free throws and now has 376 and moved to seventh in career made free throws. He passed Rashaun Freeman (374). Next on the list is No. 6 Horace Neysmith (379) and No. 5 Harper Williams (424).

Harris had no steals and stands in fifth place alone in career steals with 143 in his career. No. 4 is Mike Williams (145) and No. 3 is Anthony Anderson (150).

In playing his 125th career game, Harris moved into a tie for seventh in career games played with Tyrone Weeks. Next are Jim McCoy and Tony Barbee with 126, tied for fifth.

Individual Player Notes

Ricky Harris did not score in double-figures for the first time this season, the first time in 26 games he has played. He also saw his 37-game overall streak end. He has scored in double-figures in 90 in his 125 career games. Dating to his sophomore year, Harris has 87 of his last 92 games with 10 or more points.

Harris continues to be the A-10's leading active career scorer (1,858). No. 2 is La Salle's Rodney Green (1,851).

Terrell Vinson scored in double-figures for the 14th time this season with 16. Vinson has 10 or more in three games in a row.

Vinson had his first college dunk in the second half.

Anthony Gurley had his 22nd game this season in double-figures and 48th of the season with 10. He has reached 10 or more in five of the last six games.

Freddie Riley scored in double-figures for the 11th time in his career and this season with 12, all on four 3-pointers.

Sampson Carter had his first game in double-figures since he had 11 vs. Grambling on Dec. 11, as he scored 10 vs. Dayton.

It was Sampson Carter's second game in a row with six rebounds.

Sampson Carter also tied his career-high with three steals. He also did it at Duquesne on Feb. 11.

Trey Lang had a career-high two free throws made and attempted.

Lex Mongo played in his sixth game this season.

Javorn Farrell returned to the starting lineup after being suspended for the game vs. Saint Louis. He has started the last eight games he has played in.

Hashim Bailley did not play for the first time since Dec. 2 vs. Quinnipiac.

Series Notes

UMass and Dayton are now tied at 8-8 in the all-time series.

The win for Dayton was their first since 2005 as UMass had won four in a row in the series including two at UD Arena.

Over the last four years, Dayton is 62-6 at UD Arena with two of the losses coming to UMass in 2007 and 2008. Rhode Island picked up a win earlier this season.

UMass is now 3-5 all-time at UD Arena, also winning in 1999.

Also Of Note

The sellout crowd of 13,435 was the largest UMass played before this season. The previous high was the season-opener at Central Florida (8727).
