19 seniors played their final UMass game on Saturday were: offensive lineman Jared Chivers, defensive tackle Brandon Collier, wide receiver Victor Cruz, kicker Armando Cuko, defensive back Corey Davis, linebacker Eric Dickson, offensive tackle Vladimir Ducasse, offensive lineman Bryan Fisher, defensive end Michael Hanson, defensive tackle Kyle Harrington, wide receiver Jeremy Horne, safety Jeromy Miles, defensive end Anthony Monette, tailback Tony Nelson, wide receiver Joe Sanford, tight end Matt Silver, quarterback Scott Woodward and fullback Chris Zardas.

Senior quarterback Scott Woodward drew his first-career start in his final college game. He had played 41 previous games, mostly as a holder. He set new career-highs for completions (19), yards (277), attempts (30) and long pass (48 to Victor Cruz).

Woodward also had his first-career touchdown rush on a 13-yard dash in the fourth quarter.

Armando Cuko became UMass' career field goal leader with his 31st field goal of his career on a 40-yard kick in the second quarter. He broke the record of Silvio Bonvini, who kicked 30 from 1985-88.

Cuko also added to his single-season mark of 19 field goals this season.

It was also Cuko's 11th career field goal of 40 yards or more and seventh this season.

Cuko also kicked 5 PATs to move to second in career extra-points to pass Chris Koepplin (99) and now has 101.

Tony Nelson scored three rushing touchdowns in the game to give him 25 in his career. He is now alone in sixth place all-time in career rushing TDs at UMass. He entered the game tied with Greg Landry, who had 22.

Nelson tied his career-high with three touchdowns, its was the third team he achieved it and second time in three weeks (also vs. Northeastern).

Nelson had his 12th career 100-yard rushing game, fifth this season and third in a row with XXX.

Nelson had XX rushes for XXX yards and three touchdowns. He finished fifth in career rushing yards (2684+TODAY), fifth in career rushes (516+TODAY) and sixth in career rushing touchdowns (25).

Senior receiver Victor Cruz had X catches for XXX yards and closed his career fifth in career receiving yards (1,803+TODAY) and fourth in career receptions (120+TODAY). He moved past Jason Peebler (123) and Marcel Shipp (126) on the career receptions list.

For Cruz, it was his sixth career 100-yard game and third of the season.

Sophomore Jesse Julmiste had his first-career touch on UMass' first kickoff return of the game, gaining 16 yards.
