Chris Lowe had his second 20-point game of the season and fifth of his career with 21 points.

Lowe scored in double-figures for the seventh time this season, including 11 in the first half. He now has 37 in his 109-game career.

Ricky Harris moved to 30th in career scoring at UMass with 18 points. He now has 1,092 points. He passed Shannon Crooks (1,074) and Jack Foley (1,081).

Harris had his 14th game in double-figures in 15 contests this season with 18.

Tony Gaffney had five blocks as he continues to rank second in the NCAA in swats, entering the game with 4.9 per game.

Gaffney also had five rebounds and is averaging 11.1 rebounds, eighth in the NCAA.

UMass shot a season-best 53.8 from the floor, besting the 52.5 mark against Hofstra.

The Minutemen made just two free throws for the second time this season as they also did it against Houston.

UMass had a season-low seven assists and a season-low 24 rebounds.

On the flip side, the seven turnovers were the fewest of the season for the Minutemen.
