Postgame Quotes: Temple 80, UMass 70 (OT)

Recap | Box Score | Notes
Travis Ford on the loss:
"Give Temple credit. They made plays when it mattered and made plays to win the game. Their best players stepped up and played great. I give them a lot of credit."
Ford on the last plays for UMass:
"Everyone wants to get the ball to Gary Forbes. I was disappointed in our shot selection. We got shots off but the shots just didn;t go in. We needed to try to go ahead and score. They (Temple) just made play when it counted."
Ford on Forbes:
"Gary Forbes needs to be physical. He didn't go to the foul line and their 3-man Mark Tyndale, went 10-for-10 from the foul line."
Ford On Etienne Brower:
"He played very well. He made some shots. Shooting is not perfect. When you make shots you look good. It was nothing spectacular, he made his shots and they went in. Etienne was very valuable."
Ford On the tough run for UMass at Temple:
"It has nothing to do with the past. It is disappointing that we didn't come out with the win. This is a very tough place to play, but when players don't make plays, its hard to win."
