* UMass is the first team to win at Dayton in 2006-07. The Flyers were 14-0 at home this season and riding a 14-game win streak overall.
* The Minutemen won at UD Arena for the first time since 1999. That was a 59-57 overtime win on Jan. 28, 1999.
* Gary Forbes scored in double-figures for the 12th time in 13 games. including the last six in a row with 23 points at Dayton.
* Over his last five games, Forbes has 20.6 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game.
* Forbes' 23 points tie the second-most he has scored in a game in his career. His only higher performance came at Temple last Sunday, when he had 31. He also scored 23 points at North Carolina in 2005 while playing at Virginia.
* Rashaun Freeman and Stephane Lasme each had their 12th double-doubles of the season. Freeman had 15 points and 12 rebounds while Lasme made 14 point and 12 rebounds.
* Freeman now has 42 career double-doubles. He has also scored in double-figures in 23 of 26 games this season and in 87 of 111 career games.
* Freeman moved to third in career rebounding at UMass with 12. He passed Horace Neywmith (935) and now has 943. Only Lou Roe (1,070) and Julius Erving (1,049) have more boards at UMass.
* Lasme had his 18th game in 26 this season in double-figures and 38th of his career.
* Lasme has 20 career double-doubles.
* With his five blocked shots, Lasme now has 366 career blocked shots. In addition to leading UMass all-time, he is now tied for 23rd in career blocked shots in NCAA history. Peter Aluma, who played at American also had 366.
