*This marked UMass' first win over Boston College since December 4, 1999. BC had won seven in a row.
*UMass improves to 10-2-1 against Boston College in all sports during the 2007 calendar year.
*UMass is undefeated when scoring 80 or more points this season. Their 83 tonight were the seventh time in nine games that they have eclipsed 80.
*Sophomore Ricky Harris tied a career-high with 25 points. He set his high against Syracuse this season on Nov. 28.
*Senior Etienne Brower tied his career-high with 10 rebounds, done on three other occasions.
*This was UMass' first win over an ACC opponent since the 2005 season. They defeated Florida State 78-68, on Feb. 15, 2005.
*BC drops to 7-2, with the other loss coming against Big East opponent, Providence.
