*This was the first-ever meeting between UMass and IUPUI.
*UMass falls to 0-6 all-time against teams from Indiana.
*Redshirt-junior Luke Bonner tied his career high with 11 points. The last time he scored 11 was vs. St. Bonaventure on Feb. 21, 2007.
*Sophomore Ricky Harris scored over 20 points for the second-consecutive game. He has already reached the 20-point plateau four times this season after not reaching 20 as a freshman.
*One game after tying his career-high for assists (9), Chris Lowe made a bid to tie or break his previous high. He fell one short, finishing with eight.
*After IUPUI scored the first basket, UMass responded with an 11-0 run. It marked the second consecutive game that the Minutemen responded with a run after giving up the first basket of the game. Syracuse scored the first basket on Wed. before UMass made a 9-0 run.
