* UMass won its fifth home opener at the Mullins Center in a row. All-time UMass is 14-2 in openers at Mullins.

* UMass is 23-4 in its last 27 home games over the last three seasons. Travis Ford has coached his teams at 35 wins in its last 40 games at home spanning both Eastern Kentucky and UMass.

* Dante Milligan tallied a career-high 17 points. His former high was 11 against Saint Joseph's (1/11/06), Milligan also had a career-high in field goals made (eight) and field goals attempted (nine).

* Etienne Brower scored in double-figures for the third time in four games this season with 12. Brower's career-high last season was eight points.

* With his 12 points, Brower is now just 19 from surpassing his entire scoring total for all of last season when he had 59 total points.

* Ricky Harris continued his torrid start with 23. It was his ninth-career game with 10 or more points. Harris also had a career-high five steals.
