UMass at Charlotte
* Stephane Lasme became UMass' all-time career shot block leader with a swat early in the second half. Lasme passed Marcus Camby, who had 336 in his UMass career from 1993-96. Lasme finished with three blocks in the game and has 339 in his career.
* Lasme scored in double-figures for the 14th time this season and seventh time in eight games with 12 points.
* Rashaun Freeman scored in double-figures for the 19th time in 21 games this season and 83 in 106 career games with 18 points.
* Freeman had his 11th double-double of the season and 41st of his career with 11 rebounds.
* Gary Forbes returned to the starting line-up for the first time since Dec. 22 at Kentucky and scored in double-figures for the 16th time in 21 games this year and for the 40th time in his career with 13 points.
* Ricky Harris played great defense on Charlotte's second-leading scorer Leemire Goldwire all afternoon. As he made just one field goal with Harris guarding him and his way to 11 points.
* UMass held Charlotte's leading scorer De'Angelo Alexander, to just 13 points including just one in the second half.
* The game was UMass' first at Charlotte as the 49ers joined the A-10 last season.
