* Rashaun Freeman had his sixth double-double of the season and 36th of his career with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
* Rashaun Freeman scored 10 of UMass' first 11 points converting his first five field goals of the game, that all came in the first 7:03 of action. It put him in double-figures for the 13th time in 14 games this season and 77th time in 99 career games. He finished with 16.
* James Life scored in double-figures for the ninth time this season and 24th in his career with 14.
* Stephane Lasme reached double-figures with a huge second half. After one point at halftime, Lasme tallied 10 in the second half to finish with 11. It was his eighth game this season with 10 or more and 28th career.
* Lasme had six of his seven blocks in the second half including four in the final seven minutes of the game.
* Forward Etienne Brower had a career-high five assists.
* Gary Forbes returned to double-figures with 14 points. It was his 10th game this season with 10 or more and 34th of his career.
* Anthony Harris of Miami had the most points by a UMass opponent since Temple's David Hawkins had 41 on March 3, 2004. Harris had a total of 31 points in his last six games combined.
