Ford on the game:
I thought our team played with a lot of heart and I was proud of their effort. We did some good things. When you come into a gym like this with a good opponent, you have very little room for error. In the first half, we gave up some steals and some three pointers to guys who haven't shot well from behind the line. In the second half, we let them hit four straight three pointers.
Ford on free throw shooting
Before tonight, I would have said it would be impossible for us to go to the line only four times especially with how much we force-feed the post. I would have never thought Rashaun Freeman and Stephane Lasme would not go to the free throw line once in an entire game.
Ford on second half adjustments
In the second half, we talked about slowing down their transition game. I think they scored 20 or 22 points in the first half on transition or second chance points. In the second half, I think we did better, but Lavender made some crucial steals for them.
