* Stephane Lasme became the 23rd player in NCAA history to record two triple-doubles in the same season. Overall, it was the 26th time it occurred overall. He had 23 points, 15 rebounds and 11 blocks. His other was against St. Francis on Nov. 22, 2006 when he had 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 blocks. That list includes the likes of all-time basketball legends: David Robinson (Navy in 1986), Shaquille O'Neal (LSU in 1990 and 1992), Jason Kidd (California in 1994) and Anfernee Hardaway (Memphis in 1993). Most recently, Shawn James had two triple-doubles at Northeastern last season as well as in 2005.. Others of note on the list are: Andre Iguodala (Arizona in 2004), Luc Longley (New Mexico in 1992), Kevin Roberson (Vermont in 1990 and 1992), Sharone Wright (Clemson in 1993), Roy Rogers (Alabama in 1996), Adonal Foyle (Colgate in 1997), Jerome James (Florida A&M in 1997), David Harrison (Colorado in 2003), Note: This list includes players that had the third stat in assists, steals or blocks. Blocked shots did not become an official NCAA stat until 1986.
* Only seven players have more than two triple-doubles in a season led by Michael Anderson at Drexel in 1986 and Jason Kidd at Cal in 1994, who each had four in the season.
* Stephane Lasme had 11 blocked shots as he continued to add to his second-all-time total (316). His mark is 85 this season is also the fifth-best single-season and the most for a senior. His 11 blocked shots tied his school-record for blocked shots in a game previously done vs. St. Francis.
* Rashaun Freeman reached double-figures for the 79th time in 101 career games and 15th time in 16 games this season. He had 11 points in the first 14 minutes and finished with 21. It was his sixth game with 20 or more this season and 22nd of his career.
* Rashaun Freeman moved to a tie for seventh on the all-time UMass career rebounding list with seven on Wednesday. With (854) he tied Harper Williams (854).
* Etienne Brower scored eight points in the first 5:30 to equal his season-high in that limited time frame. That was all he scored in the game.
* Chris Lowe has a season-best seven assists.
* Gary Forbes scored in double-figures for the third game in a row and 12th time this season with 16 points. He also made a career-high 10-of-12 from the foul line. Both numbers are new career-highs.
* James Life also cracked the double-figure mark for the fifth game in a row and 11th time in 16 games this season with 11.
* UMass ended GW's 18-game Atlantic-10 conference game win streak.
