* UMass continues its best start since the 1995-96 Final Four season with an 8-2 record after 10 games.
* UMass had two players with double-doubles for the second game this season. Both Rashaun Freeman and Stephane Lasme had double-doubles at Jacksonville State on Nov. 25 and again against CCSU. Lasme had 19 points and 14 rebounds. Freeman tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds.
* It was the fifth double-double this season for both Freeman and Lasme.
* For Freeman, it was his 35th career double-double. It was also his fourth game this year with 20 points and 20th time in his career.
* Freeman has socred in double-figures in every game this season and in 74 of 95 career games.
* For Lasme, it was his 13th career double-double.
* With 14 rebounds, he was one shy of his career-high of 15 set at St. Bonaventure in 2006.
* Gary Forbes had a career-high eight assists and just one turnover. Forbes' previous high of four was done for times including twice this year.
* Forbes returned to double-figures after his first game this season without at BU. Forbes had 11 points for his ninth game with 10 or more this season and 33 in his career.
* Chris Lowe made his first start of the season in place of Forbes. It was the first time in 10 games UMass did not start the same line-up.
* UMass had a season-low 10 turnovers and shot 62.5 percent in the second half as they turned the ball over just three time in the second half.
