Coach Travis Ford On The Game:
We still need to sharpen up on defense and cut down on the turnovers, but this road trip has been good for us. We got off to a good start tonight, but that can be Fool's Gold sometimes. If you don't get off to a big start, I don't want the players to feel down. I don't want them to panic. As long as we are playing hard, if we are up or down, I want them to feel confident when they are playing hard. I'm still not happy with our team rebounding; I think we are relying on Stephane and Rashaun too much.
Ford On Play From The Bench:
Brandon Thomas and Ricki Harris have played well the last two games and I think with Brandon, especially, he is coming into a comfort zone with his role on the team. It was tough with this team tonight because the way they collapse on defense makes it hard if you aren't shooting well from the outside.
Ford On The Upcoming Boston College Game Saturday Night:
Any team that Al Skinner is coaching is going to be good. It is going to be a big game for both teams and I'm expecting a big crowd at the Mullins Center. We will certainly need the crowd's support. It will be good to be back home. It's going to be a battle; we are going to have to rebound well and shoot free throws well. We're happy to be 6-1 right now and are taking it one game at a time. Tomorrow we will start to really focus on Boston College.
Brandon Thomas On Large Number Of Family/Friends At The Game:
It was great; it's really good to see all my family who lives in the South since I can't see them much. It was really a big help for me and for the other guys who had a ton of family here for the game to support all of us. I remember last year at the George Washington game, several family members traveled there and it meant a lot.
Thomas on the last two games:
I'm just letting the game come to me and I'm just trying to do what I can to help the team. I just want to contribute and understand what my role is on the team. I think we have more depth this year and work hard and work together and I'm happy to be a part of that.
Thomas On Upcoming Boston College Game:
We've been looking forward to this game since we found out about it in the summer. I heard we are going to have a good crowd in the Mullins Center, so we are ready to get to practice and get ready.
