Coach Travis Ford on his team's effort:
"Things went our way from the beginning, when the Temple player dribbled the ball of his foot. Temple's a real good team. This was probably our best games of the year. Carrier and Thomas really stepped up."

Coach Ford on his team's shooting:
"We're not a bad shooting team, we get caught taking bad shots. Today, we took good threes. I knew we weren't going to win inside, we had to draw the defense in then kick out."

Coach Ford on winning big in front of a national audience:
"It's good to win any game. It helps recruiting when we're on national television and we win. I told our team it was a must win. We could not let this one get away with three tough road games coming up."

Coach Ford on Lawrence Carrier:
"We have the LC Rule. It is that when his feet are set, he can shoot. He may be the best offensive player on our team."

Lawrence Carrier on his team:
"We are 4-1 (in A-10 play). We should have won at St. Louis. Hopefully, we win at Rhode Island. We have confidence."

Chris Lowe on the game:
"We always knew LC could shoot. He was hot, and we kept feeding it to him. Our scout team did great. Practicing against the scout team (Forbes, Brower, Bonner) helped me break down Temple's zone."

Temple coach John Chaney on his team:
"Our guys had trouble making baskets. As the game progressed, we cared about I instead of we. We must have made two threes, it is just not acceptable."

Chaney on Chris Lowe:
"The key was the point guard. He didn't turn it over. He had nine assists, that's the key."

Chaney on free throw shooting in college basketball:
"Our guy gets a 1 and 1 and shoots an airball! In all my years, I've never seen such poor foul shooting...When you start missing foul shots, It's like everyone gets infected with it...I don't get it."

Chaney on his team's shooting:
"Shooting two for twenty on threes is not acceptable. I'm thinking of benching somebody and bringing in Dion, he plays with his head"
