Coach Ford general reaction to the game: I'm very proud of our defense tonight .It was a great defensive effort by both teams. Both teams were exhausted from the effort and I think that's why St. Joseph's struggled with threes tonight. The first thing to go is your legs when you get tired
Coach Ford on the performance of James Life, Dante Milligan and Chris Lowe: They were the difference in the game. They gave a complete effort and without their energy we don't win tonight. They rebounded well and I thought we did a good job of "gang rebounding" where even the guards are crashing the boards.
Dante Milligan on his 13 point, 6-6 from the floor performance: Coach Ford expected a lot from me. It's taken me a few games to shake the rust off and will probably take me a few more games to settle in. I'm just trying to do the little things to help this team win.
Rashaun Freeman on shaking the eight-game losing streak to St. Joseph's: Going into the game, it was in the back of our minds. We knew we had to get it done tonight. We played a great first half defensively, but we knew we had to crank it up a notch in the second half. This is our first quality win. We can't just be happy with that and we have to keep on improving.
