Travis Ford On The Win:
"This is one of our, if not best physical and mental effort of the year. We didn't play that well offensively, but we played extremely hard tonight. Our guys came out and physically played relentless. Mentally, they executed to perfection. Execution-wise, we didn't play all that well. To beat a very good St. Peter's team, like we did, says a lot about the physical and mental effort we put into it>"
On the team's improvement:
"We are improving slowly but surely. We have a lot of room for improvement. These guys are still trying to figure out the offense and defenses. If you get the effort, how hard they played tonight we will get some wins a long the way. When we start executing and learning the offense and shooting better percentages and add that to the effort, we can be a pretty good basketball team. Tonight we won on effort."
On Keydren Clark of Saint Peter's:
"We wanted to try and trap him as much as we could off of every screen and push him out to halfcourt and try to keep him away from the basket. You are not going to keep him away from the ball. He is going to get the ball. We just wanted to make him take tough shots. The shots he made tonight were tough shots. The threes he made were 30-footers. He may be one of the most unselfish point guards in the country."
On Jeff Viggiano:
"Jeff was very active tonight. He was extremely active. He rebounded well and went to the rim. He just needs to be active. He is not great at anything, but he is good at most things. He never had to stop moving. That is his game and I thought he did a good job of that tonight."
