AMHERST, Mass - • James Life had 20 points, a career high. 18 of his 20 came on three point field goals and his 6 three pointers made is a career and season high. It was his second career game with 10 or more points
• Chris Lowe piled up a career-high seven assists on the night, five coming in the first half
• Rashaun Freeman finished the night with 12 points and 10 boards. The game marked his 22 career double-double and third on the season, as well as 51st game in which he has double figures in points.
• Stephane Lasme had two blocks bringing his season total up to 24 and 151 for his career. Lasme is currently sixth all-time in blocked shots and trails Kitwana Rhymer , who had 184 blocks, for fifth place.
• With the win, UMass extends its winning streak over the Terriers to eight straight games. The Minutemen lead the overall series 39-29. The teams will meet again next season at Agganis Arena in Boston.
• The Minutemen's ranks will grow larger next week as sophomore Dante Milligan will be making his UMass debut against Siena. Milligan sat out the first semester after transferring from Pittsburgh last season.
• The Minutemen held the Terriers to 45 points, the lowest total UMass has allowed all season. The last time the Minutemen held an opponent to less 50 points came February 9,2005 as the Minutemen defeated Rhode Island 70-44
