Katie Nelson on the energy of the team
At the start of the game I thought we made a lot of mistakes, but I think it was our energy that kept us in it and eventually helped us break away. Our main focus in practice was to keep energetic and positive and I think that really helped us today, especially when we weren't playing solid defense.
Pam Rosanio on bouncing back from a loss
After our loss to Hartford, out main goal in practice was to stay focused throughout the game and keep our intensity up. We worked on having emotion, even about the little things, and I think our passion showed through in the win tonight. We also got a little more creative with our offense. Most teams are going to play us zone and in practice we worked on driving in and kicking the ball out with the post in the short corner.
Kate Mills on coming off the bench
It was a little different coming off the bench because I got to watch the game and focus in on what the tempo was going to be like. Either way I need to come in, step up, and get rebounds for my team. Against Menty tonight I had to be physical all night long. She moves well without the ball, ducking in and out, and I think all of our post players did a good job on her tonight.

I was very pleased with tonight's win. I thought we accomplished everything we worked on in practice, especially the emotional aspect of the game. I think we had great ball movement tonight, making 20 assists on 29 baskets. In practice we tried to work on our energy and I think it really helped our defense tonight, especially in the second half where we only committed four turnovers.
