Hyams Named Academic All-Conference

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Senior Susan Hyams (Cincinnati, Ohio) of the UMass women's tennis team, was named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team, announced by the A-10 this morning.
In the classroom, Hyams has maintained a career GPA of 3.84 as a Sport Management major. She is also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council and the Faculty-Student Athletic Advisory Board. On the court, Susan ended the year with a spring singles record of 12-4 and a combined singles record of 13-5. In doubles, she posted a spring record of 10-6, with an overall record of 13-6. Hyams ends her career as the winningest player in UMass history, with 120 combined wins. She holds second place all-time at UMass in career doubles wins with 62 and is tied for second all-time at UMass in career singles wins, with 58.
