2004 Marnie Dacko Basketball School A Success

AMHERST, Mass. - The 2004 Marnie Dacko Basketball School was held last month on the campus of the Unversity of Massachusetts and was once again a hit with girls in grades three through 12. The tuition is $210 per participant and a $75 deposit is required. Keep checking back here for updates on the 2005 camp or call the basketball office at 413-545-2726.

Dacko and her staff will direct the Marnie Dacko Basketball School. Coach Dacko is a great teacher of the game and participants will enjoy her positive coaching style. Prior to her arrival in Amherst, Coach Dacko served as the head coach at Cornell University. There, she collected more wins than any previous coach. Join coach Dacko and her staff for a great session. Learn the FUNdamentals of the game and become a better player!

Please Note: The medical health form will be mailed to you after your application and deposit are received. Please note that no participant will be allowed to participate in the basketball school unless this form is completed and returned before school registration.

Some highlights of the school include:

  • A chance to work with college coaches and players
  • Develop and improve your basketball skills
  • Competitive drills and contests
  • All participants will receive a t-shirt and basketball
  • School hours 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • Participants should bring their lunch and a bathing suit and towel

    A typical day at the Marnie Dacko Basketball School:

    9:00 AM: Attendance
    9:15 AM: FUN group activity
    9:30 AM: Stretch
    9:45 AM: Team competition (relays, shooting, races, etc ...)
    10:00 AM: Fundamental drills
    11:15 AM: Games
    12:00 PM: Lunch break
    12:45 PM: Competitive team shooting competitions
    1:00 PM: Lecture with break-down drills
    1:30 PM: Games
    2:00 PM: Swimming
    3:00 PM: Session ends
