AMHERST, Mass. - After more than a month on the road, the University of Massachusetts women's gymnastics team returns home to take on Atlantic 10 foe Temple here on Saturday afternoon. The Minutewomen, 2-10 this season, are making their first appearance at Boyden Gymnasium since a season-opening loss to Rutgers on Jan. 12. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

UMass has been led this season by all-arounder Megan Donoghue (Tewksbury, Mass.) and balance beam and uneven bar specialist Katie Teft (Grand Rapids, Mich.). Donoghue has led the Minutewomen in the all-around in four of six meets and has won two titles this season, including the all-around crown at Tuesday's tri-meet at M.I.T.

Teft, twice selected as Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week, has excelled as a beam and bar specailist for the Minutewomen. Teft has recorded at least a 9.775 on uneven bars at every meet this season, and twice recorded 9.825 or better on balance beam.

The Minutewomen will remain at Boyden Gymnasium next week as they host Bridgeport on Saturday, March 2. Meet time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
