In the giant slalom, junior Carolyn Lewenberg (Newton, Mass.) registered a third-place finish with a total time of 2:13.53. Senior Lauren Brodey (Jamesville, N.Y.) was the only other top 10 finisher as she was 10th with a mark of 2:17.65.

For the men, junior Rich Granger (Princeton, Mass.) came in sixth with a total time of 2:06.02. Finishing ninth and 10th with times of 2:07.02 and 2:07.14, respectively, were sophomore Beau Gibson (Oakland, Md.) and senior Ken Thoman (Lebanon, Ohio).

In the slalom, Lewenberg and Brodey were seventh and eighth with total times of 1:45.65 and 1:46.55. Granger was the only member of the men's sqaud to crack the top ten as his total time 1:38.65 was 10th.

After two weeks of racing, the Minutewomen now stand in second in the overall Eastern Ski Conference standings, while the Minutemen are third.

Both squads return to action Feb. 2-3, when they will compete at the Brown Carnival held at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, N.H.
