No. 13 Men's Water Polo Team Defeats Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The No. 13 University of Massachusetts men's water polo team defeated Brown today 12-5 at Providence, R.I.

Junior Adam Moore (Sinking Springs, Pa.) added a trio of goals, while junior Evan Lutz (Laguna Hills, Calif.) and junior Carlos Ramos (Anasco, P.R.) each scored two goals to lead the UMass offense. VanderWall proved strong in the net stopping eight shots.

The Minutemen return to action on Saturday, September 23, when they travel to Cambridge, Mass., to participate in the Collegiate Water Polo Association League Tournament against Boston College, Harvard, and M.I.T., beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Senior Adam Moore was one of two Minutemen to be named to the NCAA All-Tournament team.
