AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Cal Bouchard connected on four 3-pointers in the first 10 minutes to lead No. 18 Boston College over Massachusetts 60-45 Saturday.

Bouchard finished with 17 points, including 15 on 3-pointers. Alissa Murphy added 14 points, and Jamie Cournoyer had 10 for Boston College (4-2), which bounced back from Monday's 73-42 loss to Illinois in the third-place game of the preseason women's NIT.

Caroline Nehls led UMass (0-4) with 20 points. The Minutemwomen shot only 21.8 percent.

Up 34-18 at the half, Boston College took its biggest lead of the game, 53-28, on a jumper by Cournoyer with 9:16 to play in the second half.

BC jumped took an 18-3 lead with 10:01 remaining in the first half on Bouchard's fourth 3-pointer. Murphy's jumper made it 20-3 with 8:05 to play.
