THE WEEK IN REVIEW: UMass captured a 7-0 sweep of Rhode Island on Oct. 19 to complete its fall dual match season and remain undefeated at 5-0. Sophomore Steve Prisco (Dedham, Mass.) won at No. 1 singles over Phil Johnson to improve to 4-0 in that position this season. Junior Bill Greener (Walpole, Mass.) also remained undefeated (5-0) in dual matches this season with a victory over Karlis Anton at No. 3 singles.

UP NEXT: The Minutemen will complete the fall campaign at the ITA Rolex Championships from Nov. 4-8 in Princeton, N.J.

TEAM RECORDS: Senior Josh Bainton (Newport, R.I.) is 10-3 in singles during the fall to lead the team. Junior Fabien Rabanal (Lexington, Mass.) (4-0) and freshman Will Shaw (Norwell, Mass.) (5-0) are also undefeated in dual matches this campaign. In doubles, the tandem of senior Marco Casesa (Floral Park, N.Y.) and sophomore Todd Champeau (Waukesha, Wisc.) are 12-3 this season, including posting a 4-1 record in dual matches. The duo of Prisco and Shaw are undefeated (4-0) at No. 1 doubles.

HEAD COACH JUDY DIXON: Head coach Judy Dixon (Southern California ?73), who is in her seventh-year with the men?s tennis team, is 66-39 with the Minutemen. Dixon also coaches the women?s team at UMass, where she is 93-51 with the Minutewomen in eight seasons.
