MAC Introductory Press Conference Credential Request Form
The University of Massachusetts has accepted an invitation to join the Mid-American Conference (MAC) as a full member, beginning on July 1, 2025.
A press conference with University of Massachusetts Amherst Chancellor Javier A. Reyes, Director of Athletics Ryan Bamford and MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7 in the Hunt Room at the Martin Jacobson Football Performance Center.
The press conference will not be open to the public, but it will be live streamed on UMassAthletics.com, ESPN+ and on the Massachusetts Athletics Youtube page.
Approved media can expect an email confirmation early next week (week beginning March 4) with additional details on event parking.
