Field Hockey Stopped in Overtime at Saint Joseph's, 3-2

Hazard makes seven saves; Farrell and Hawkshaw score
Pepa Serrano ended the contest in the 77th minute when Anna Willocks sent Serrano a pass following a penalty corner.
Serrano's goal was the first in more than 42 minutes as neither side converted during the second half after the sides entered the frame even at 2-2. Kerri Turk had the additional two Hawks goals, one each in the seventh and 34th minutes.
After Turk's first of the day, Hawkshaw put the Minutewomen on the scoreboard at the 13-minute, 12-second mark. With control of possession near the top of the arc, Hawkshaw turned and fired in her 10th goal of the season to even play at 1-1.
Farrell followed with a penalty corner conversion in the 22nd minute that posted the Minutewomen to a 2-1 advantage. Farrell scored on an insert by Celina Hocks and stick stop from Cliodhna Loughlin.
Turk rallied the Hawks back with 65 seconds left in the first half on a rebound play following a Saint Joseph's corner.
Massachusetts led in shots, 18-16, but Saint Joseph's held the edge in on-target tries, 10-9. The Hawks also led in penalty corners, 8-7. Victoria Kammerinke made seven saves for Saint Joseph's. Emily Hazard also had seven saves for the Minutewomen, including five during the overtime period alone.
