On August 9, Evan Deckers was named to the Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, which is presented to the top senior long snapper in FBS football.

Thursday, August 12 marked the first day in full pads for the Minutemen on a steamy morning at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
We had our first really hot day, and we’re all nice and tired. It was a great teachable moment and learning lesson about the ability to do what you’re supposed to do when you may be a little bit bothered.Head Coach Walt Bell
