Think you have the fastest baby in Massachusetts? Prove it at the UMass Diaper Derby Baby Race during halftime of the Men’s Basketball game on January 10 at the Mullins Center!
ELIGIBILITY
Crawlers only! The UMass Diaper Derby Baby Race is open to infants 16 months or younger as of January 10, 2026.
HOW TO ENTER
Complete the official entry form to receive one (1) entry into the race. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on January 6, 2026.
Selected participants will be contacted with additional details and check-in instructions.
TICKETS FOR PARTICIPANTS
Each confirmed participant will receive up to four (4) complimentary tickets to the January 10 men's and women's basketball doubleheader. Additional tickets for family and friends will be available at a special discounted rate. Children age 3 and under do not require a ticket.
RULES & PRIZING
As determined by UMass Athletics, the first infant to crawl across the designated finish line, or the infant leading when time expires, without walking, will be declared the winner. Any infant who stands up and walks will be penalized by returning to the starting line for a restart. A second offense will result in disqualification.
